The Windows Driver Developer's Digest
Author Guidelines

WD-3 welcomes unsolicited manuscripts in the following categories:

• Feature articles (1,000 to 3,000 words) on a technical subject related to Windows driver programming

• News articles (100 to 300 words) about some newsworthy current event

• Tips and tricks (100 to 300 words) for using Device Driver Interface functions in the kernel

WD-3 does not accept advertising, announcements of seminars or other events (except for regular Microsoft-sponsored conferences like WinHEC), or manuscripts that are primarily concerned with commercial products.

WD-3 does not normally publish articles whose primary purpose is to express the author's opinions.

WD-3 reserves the right to edit any submission for style or content and to reject any submission for any reason.

Format: Edit your manuscript using Microsoft FrontPage or an equivalent text editor. Follow the guidelines in the WD-3 Article Template.

Release Form: Before we publish your submission, we will ask you to complete an Author's Release form. Do not submit the release with your article. Wait until you've been informed that we've accepted the article for publication in a particular issue.
